Brenda G. Able

Brenda G. Able was born and raised in Macon County, and now resides in Houston County with her husband, David Able, Jr. Together, they have five adult children, seven grandchildren, and two godchildren, whom they love and adore.

Brenda attended South Georgia Technical Institute, majoring in Business Education. Brenda provided amazing service and leadership for 22 years at the Bibb County Superior Court Clerk’s Office. Brenda’s service to the community included working at the front counter, providing exceptional customer service, and acting as a liaison between the civil, criminal, and real estate departments. She also worked in the real estate department for many years before being promoted to Chief Court Management Clerk, where she served her last 10 years.

Brenda was responsible for managing the civil and domestic calendars for the Superior Court judges as well as managing the jurors for Civil Magistrate Court, State Court, and Superior Court. Brenda mentored many peers, provided advice and guidance throughout her years of service, and served the community with great pleasure. Brenda is excited to join the Middle Georgia Justice team, as her heart is to serve people.
