Middle Georgia Justice Board President Bill Adams was presented the Chief Justice Thomas O. Marshall Professionalism Award by the Bench and Bar Committee of the State Bar of Georgia.  The Award was presented to Adams at the State Bar Annual Meeting in Amelia Island on June 7.  The Award honors one lawyer and one judge who have and continue to demonstrate the highest professional conduct and paramount reputation for professionalism.

Adams is retired from the State Court of Bibb County and has been MGJ President since its inception in 2017.  In accepting the Award, Adams stated it was in recognition of the mission to reduce the justice gap in Georgia.  Adams is joined by his son and MGJ Board  Member Brian Adams in the photograph taken after the Award Ceremony.
